Welcome to the new KevinWaites.com

Hello Everyone!
I’ve been hard at work over the past few months getting myself established.
I’ve been working as a freelance web and graphic designer for the past 8 years or so, but I’ve finally decided to make this my ‘main thing’.

There is a special kind of satisfaction that I get when I see all the work and effort I put into a project turn into a final product. That is the kind of service I want to be in.

This web site will be a central point for all of my creative work. (design and music) I will be adding my portfolio shortly and a calendar with all of my gigs.
Enjoy, look around and come back to see what’s new!

Like the tag line says, I CREATE EXPERIENCES!
What kind of experience can I make for you today?

As I have written before, it seems to me that in general, non-profit organizations are trapped in the shadow of the for-profit world. Non-profit organizations are structured in a way that mirrors their for-profit counterparts. A structure that has been honed over the past few hundred years to provide the perfect balance between servicing the…

  • Starting with the right Why

I recently had the great fortune to be involved with the creation of a first of it’s kind Interpetive Centre. Speaking in very general terms, usually, when you start creating museum exhibits you dig through your collection and figure out what you want to show. You group artifacts together in some meaningful way and you…
